How we find the leak

We confirm the leak at the meter, isolate the house, and trace the service. Most leaks show themselves at the surface once you know where the line runs. Where they don't, we pothole with hydrovac along the route to expose the pipe without cutting anything else that's buried near it.

Repair or replace

A single pinhole in copper or a failed fitting is a spot repair. Galvanized steel that has corroded, polybutylene, or a service that has leaked more than once is a replacement. New services are run in the material your water district approves, typically copper or approved poly, sized for the house, and buried below frost.

Frozen water lines

Shallow services and lines under driveways freeze in a hard York County winter. We thaw frozen lines and, where the depth is the real problem, re-lay the service below the frost line so it doesn't happen next year.

Water main and well line replacement
