What hydrovac does
A hydrovac truck uses high-pressure water to loosen soil and a powerful vacuum to lift it into a debris tank. The result is a clean hole with the utility exposed and undamaged. It is the preferred method for potholing, daylighting and trenching anywhere gas, electric, fiber, water or sewer is in the ground, and it digs frozen ground with heated water when a bucket can't.

Verify the exact depth and position of a buried line before a crossing, a bore or an excavation. Test holes on a grid or along a route, measured and documented for the plan set.
Underground utility daylighting
Expose a length of utility for inspection, repair or tie-in without mechanical contact. Standard practice within the tolerance zone of marked utilities.
Frozen ground excavation
